Overview
Patrick Asare is an accomplished author with a unique background and firsthand experience of life in Ghana and the former Soviet Union. Born and raised in Ghana, Patrick pursued his higher education in the former Soviet Union, studying electrical engineering at Donetsk National Technical University in Ukraine. He also completed a certification program to become a Russian language teacher. During his time in the Soviet Union from 1985 to 1991, Patrick witnessed the historic perestroika era and traveled extensively throughout Eastern and Western Europe. His experiences provided him with a deep understanding of life on both sides of the Iron Curtain, and he went on to write the memoir A Boy from Boadua.
